Regal Secret Triumphs in Thrilling Performance

Regal Secret wins at Mornington

The Story of Regal Secret’s Brilliant Victory

What a performance from Regal Secret!

Today, she proved her mettle against a field packed with talent and form, overcoming a challenging race setup with grit and determination.

In a race dominated by early pressure, Regal Secret’s preferred running style seemed at a disadvantage.

Yet, with a clean break from the gates and a masterful ride by Daniel Stackhouse, she showed just how special she is.

Despite being pressed by Ideal Girl and Takeko, Daniel settled her into a perfect rhythm, setting the stage for a memorable run.

As the field approached the home turn, it was clear no horse was traveling better than Regal Secret.

Spotting the narrowest of gaps as the leaders straightened, she made her move.

Without hesitation, she burst through with acceleration and courage, leaving the field behind in a flash, opening up two lengths in moments.

Takeko rallied late, finding good ground two off the fence, but Regal Secret held her comfortably, showing class and professionalism right to the finish line.

This victory speaks volumes about the incredible teamwork behind Regal Secret.

The Stokes team’s effort to bring her back from 1400m to 1200m in peak condition paid off spectacularly, and Daniel Stackhouse’s flawless execution of the plan was the cherry on top.

Regal Secret is a star in the making, and her performance today only adds to the excitement about her bright future.

We can’t wait to see her next chapter unfold!

Taramansour’s Spectacular Victory at Flemington: A Day to Remember

Taramansour’s Spectacular Victory at Flemington: A Day to Remember

Taramansour wins at Flemington

The Big T storms home at Flemington, delivering his best performance yet.

No horse in Melbourne that has earned a Saturday win here more than the Big T, and today he proved why.

It was a race we had to be patient for, but when Taramansour broke through, he did it in spectacular fashion.

Today, he was simply outstanding.

The start didn’t go exactly to plan – missing the jump by half a length, but that minor hiccup set the stage for Plan B: settle in the back of the field, find a good rhythm, and wait for the right moment to strike.

Jaylah, as always, was a standout.

She rode with supreme confidence and didn’t try to force anything. Instead, she let the race come to them.

Our main worry heading into the race was whether Taramansour would get too keen early on, so we kept things light between his Sydney run and today.

He’s been enjoying some well-earned downtime on the farm, and let me tell you, that break did wonders.

He came into the race fresh, full of energy, and ready to unleash everything.

Taramansour is a horse with a brilliant wind and top-tier fitness.

Anyone who saw him in Sydney knew how strong and fit he is.

He was just waiting for his shot at an extra two furlongs – and today, he got it.

Jaylah was terrific.

She showed plenty of confidence in our boy and instead of improvising, took a sit on the rails and Tarmansour obliged travelling in a comfortable rhythm off the speed.

Around the 800m mark, the pace started to ease, and you could feel the tension.

Taramansour was full of running and ready to explode, but he was boxed in, stuck behind a wall of horses.

It was nail-biting.

But in a move that took real guts, Jaylah surged forward, found a narrow gap between Bitcoin, and shot through.

As soon as Taramansour found that gap, he exploded.

It was like a coiled spring being released.

In a flash, he went past the favourite, Flamin Romans, and surged to the front, crossing the line for dominant win.

And not just any win – a class record time, 11.82 lengths faster than the average!

What an extraordinary win from the Big T!

Without a doubt, this was the best performance of his career.

He’s in blistering form right now, and when it comes to stayers, that’s a huge deal.

Huge thanks to Phil and the team at Stokes Racing for their amazing work and to Jaylah for her poise and courage.

The future looks incredibly exciting for Taramansour, and with more to come in the coming weeks, the Big T looks poised to catch up with unfinished business.

Regal Might Delivers for Regal Bloodstock in Thrilling Style

Regal Might Delivers for Regal Bloodstock in Thrilling Style

Regal Might win at Mornington

Regal Might’s Mornington Masterclass

It’s moments like these that remind us why we love racing.

After six months on the sidelines, Regal Might delivered a breathtaking performance at Mornington to claim victory in his first run of the campaign.

Returning on a tight-turning track with some question marks about his race fitness, Regal Might proved that class and determination can overcome even the trickiest of challenges.

Leading into this race, Mick Price and his team had prepared him beautifully, though Mick cautioned that he wasn’t yet at peak condition.

Today’s result showed that their meticulous preparation paid off in spades.

While the plan was to sit one or two spots off the lead, Regal Might had other ideas.

Racing keenly under the expert guidance of Beau Mertens, our boy pushed forward to challenge the early leader, Enright.

As they approached the home turn, Regal Might’s inexperience showed—he lost stride, wobbling around the turn as Enright pulled two lengths clear.

But class horses rise to the occasion.

Once Regal Might found his balance in the straight, he unleashed a powerful burst to reel in Enright and surged ahead to secure a comfortable, commanding win.

It was a ride to remember from Beau Mertens, whom showed tremendous faith in Regal Might’s ability, and a testament to the outstanding work of Mick Price and his team in getting him back to his best.

This was more than just a win—it was a declaration of intent for the campaign ahead.

With this thrilling performance under his belt, Regal Might has every reason to take confidence into his next start, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.

What’s Next?

Stay tuned as Regal Might continues his journey this campaign. If today’s performance is any indication, the best is yet to come!

Congratulations to everyone involved and a big thank you to our owners and supporters—this is just the beginning of an exciting chapter for Regal Might.

A Win to Remember: Milo Shines at Mornington

A Win to Remember: Milo Shines at Mornington

Milo wins at Mornington with Daniel Stackhouse

A terrific win by Milo today!

After much anticipation, we finally drew a decent barrier, giving us the opportunity to truly showcase Milo’s potential.

And did he deliver!

The odds-on favourite, Buades, with none other than Craig Williams making the trip to Mornington for the ride, looked like a formidable opponent.

Buades’ last-start win carried plenty of merit, beating Capitalex, who subsequently placed a solid second in town.

But today, Milo showed everyone that he has plenty of talent—it’s just a matter of putting all the pieces together.

His first-up run may have looked ordinary to some, but the final sectionals, completed under no pressure, hinted that he wasn’t far away from a breakout performance.

All he needed was the right ride and a clear plan.

This time, we had both.

With a clear strategy in place, we set out to ensure Milo was within striking range on the turn. The rest, we were confident, would be up to him.

Credit must go to jockey D. Stackhouse, whose persistent encouragement kept Milo in the game.

500m left in the run, Milo was under the whip and hanging on at the rear.

Whilst others thought he was spent, Milo was just warming up.

By the 150m mark, the narrative changed dramatically.

As soon as he pricked his ears and dropped his head on the turn, it was game over.

The grin on Stackhouse’s face all the way up the straight said it all.

The moment he surged ahead, it was clear—Milo had this in the bag.

There’s still work to be done, but today proved that Milo is on his way to fulfilling his potential.

Congratulations to all connections, and here’s to many more days like today!

He managed to keep Regal Secret in a great rhythm throughout the race, saving enough energy for the critical final stages. His judgment and timing were spot-on, and his confidence in Regal Secret was evident from the way he guided her.

A Strategic Start and Commanding Finish

From the outset, Regal Secret looked like she had something special in store. By taking control early and positioning herself perfectly, she gave herself every chance of success. When the moment came to push for the finish, she had plenty left in the tank and pulled away with authority. It was a
commanding win and a display of the class and professionalism she’s developed.

What Lies Ahead for Regal Secret?

With this win under her belt, the future looks bright for Regal Secret. There’s still plenty of room for improvement as she continues to mature, and the next year is likely to bring even bigger and better performances. The team has high hopes for her, and if her current trajectory continues, she’s set to
be a serious contender at metropolitan level.

Conclusion
