It took me 4 days of negotiation… but I am delighted to have secured this magnificent colt by Brazen Beau.

I was originally outbidded and the colt was passed in 220k – not making his reserve.

He was our prime pick of the 1000 horse draft that Matt Cumani, Leonard and I had scoured through.

I eventually secured this quality colt on the final day for 150k!

We had his heart scored and his rating was the highest percentile scored. The Vet subsequently purchased 25% based on the examination!

He was a Standout!

This colt’s build and demeanour shared an uncanny resemblance to Brazen Beau!

The I Am Invincible/ Sadler’s Wells breed line is now one of the most famous and successful families in Australasia!

He was clearly the most outstanding Brazen Beau type i have ever seen.

I have not seen many colts in my time with such a natural athleticism and movement like this guy. Other great features I noted were good barrel, strong bone and beautifully angled shoulder set. A real Caulfield Guineas type of horse. We measured his windpipe. Airways is a very important characteristic for a racehorse. Average is 2.0. This guy measured 3.5!

Our Regal Spirit Toys with her rivals

Our Regal Spirit has brought plenty of smiles to her faithful supporters, demolishing her opposition by 5 lengths.

Emily Brown rode the mare perfectly, placing her on the rails two lengths off the leaders.  On approach of the turn, Emily gave Our Regal Spirit a little squeeze and she quickly rounded the leading pair and took over straightening coming away for a big win.

The win most certainly adds great residual value to our girl, but we will not be stopping here. Our Regal Spirit will now be heading north and looking to string a few wins together now that she is in peak form.

Our Regal Spirit is a mare bred in the purple by I am Invincible through Salila a stakes winning mare through Sadler’s Wells.

Jenkins on the move to Regal Bloodstock. After a stroke of very good fortune and tip off…. (and very anxious wait), the Regal team has been the benefactor of securing the ‘White hot / Explosive ‘ Jenkins.

Jenkins is already a Saturday Flemington / Carnival horse with elite class breeding to match – Pierro / Redoute’s choice cross.

Being a $400,000 Magic Millions purchase, He has justified the early appraisals with extremely strong performances when making his way to the track.

With only a few starts under his belt, the world is his oyster. He is a marvelous and first class horse.
