Absolutely thrilled with Jenkins’ outstanding victory today!

Jenkins is the jewel in the crown for us at Regal.

Coming back from fractured fetlock amongst a host of many other issues… what a wonderful story since being transitioned over Caroline’s care and tuned up by Phil, Tommy and the team.

The big guy has been in exceptional form since his return this season.

His first-up performance certainly set the tone for what was to come.

Following that impressive run, Jenkins hasn’t missed a beat and was always going to appreciate stepping up to 1400m today.

Contrary to what the media was suggesting, we strongly believed that this race would have a decent pace, and we were hopeful that the track conditions would be fair, allowing backmarkers like Jenkins to showcase their true potential in the final stages.

Finally, the ideal conditions we were hoping for had arrived: a dry surface, a fair track, and a race with a good tempo.

Jenkins broke out of the gates magnificently, showing good speed right from the start.

To our delight, the pace was blisteringly fast in the early stages, thanks to Deevine scorching the turf early on.

Caitlin tactfully positioned Jenkins toward the back of the pack, about 10-12 lengths off the lead, just as we had planned.

As you know, Jenkins possesses a powerful and sustained final burst, and it was crucial to allow him to maintain his rhythm throughout the run. Today was the day we had been waiting for.

Caitlin skillfully found an excellent path along the inside, enabling Jenkins to gradually close the gap on the leaders and unleash his full potential.

With an impressive burst of speed, he swiftly gained ground on the leading pack and continued to extend his lead.

From this point, the race was over. Jenkins hit the line hard, delivering a sensational victory and reaching a new peak in his form.

We couldn’t be prouder of our boy today. It was an incredibly thrilling display, and the team is certain there are still plenty more victories to come.

What an absolute thrill witnessing Taramansour’s back-to-back victory today.

The level of form leading up to this race was exceptional….but these days, the Big T is a whole new beast!

Early on, our boy raced close to the lead, pulling ahead without cover in a fast-paced battle. It had us all on edge, but hats off to jockey Sheridan, who masterfully steered the ship.

Sheridan’s brilliant understanding of our horse shone through as she let Taramansour run his race instead of engaging in a control battle. When he found the fence, she gave him a breather – a game-changing move that led to victory.

This win was nothing short of impressive, with our boy outpacing the competition in a high-tempo race against some top-notch contenders.

Now, it’s time for Big T to enjoy a well-deserved treat on the farm.

He’s back to loving his racing,
