The Big ‘T’ adds the scalp of seasoned Stayer Prince Ziggy and Marchons Ensemble to his belt in another white hot performance making it three in a row and another Stayer’s Series Final to his mantle piece.

With a brisk tempo set, the hopes were to reduce the effect of Taramansour’s acceleration and make it a real test of stamina.

But this plan was not not going to foil the Freddie / Taramansour Party!

In another superb ride by Fred Kersley, Taramansour was rated perfectly making his move with 600m to go.

Gently urging Taramansour forward, the Big ‘T’ took up the bit and surged his way to the front passing the gallant Prince Ziggy for another comfortable win with plenty left in hand.

His main danger Marchons Ensemble tried vallantly but in the same fashion as Lunar Flare last start, simply could not sustain the burst to keep up with the Big ‘T’ when the engines click to full.

An electrifying win by Taramansour today confirmed to all that he is a quality Stayer in the making.

Taramansour came to Australia with top line performances against quality opponents such as Tiger Moth and Hosier.

A patient build up improving each outing, Taramansour is now approaching the form he was showing in Europe.

Taramansour showed  in his previous victory, that he possessed a good turn of foot and has been quite progressive  improving 4 – 5 lengths each start.

However, today would be his first real test. He was meeting a galloper that can run up to 65km/h in her closing sectionals. Significantly faster than any opposition the Big ‘T’ has faced.

But like a very good horse, Taramansour stepped up to the challenge again today.

Lunar Flare to her credit gave one almighty kick and launched at him…. but Taramansour responded and in the end was eased back down 75m out. 

Once again, a tremendous ride by Fred Kersley showing great trust in his mount.

Taramansour continues to improve and will be moving onto bigger and better things, proving that he is becoming a real force to be reckoned with.

Taramansour steps up and shows his class with a dominant display at his home track at Ballarat.

Although very much a work in progress, Taramansour was heavily backed by his supporters from $7 to $2.20 by time of the Jump.

This turned to be an astute investment when the Irish Import by Dansili opened up the engines with a powerful burst quickly putting the race to bed with rider Fred Kersley having an arrogant look over his shoulder and easing up over line.

There was a few nervous moments coming to the final turn with Taramansour being temporarily locked in, but these concerns quickly subsided when Fred quickly steered this promising colt by Dansili into some free air.

Taramansour then changed gears and charged away with a blistering turn of foot to seal the victory in a twinkling.

Taramansour – the Big ‘T’ appears to be living up to his title as an emerging star with plenty of improvement to come.

Rocket Empire Shows Class In Dominant Display

It has been a patient wait for connections to see this talented galloper by Reward For Effort return back to the racetrack.

Rocket Empire made a tremendous start to racing with two strong back-to-back wins and looked set for great things.

Unfortunately, fortune did not favour him which soon suffered a serious infection and then later fractured his pedal bone.

It has been (34 weeks) to see our boy back on the track again…. after all setbacks, injuries and disappointments.

Well…. the Rocket did not disappoint!

A few deep breaths after the turn, but as soon as he balanced up… the afterburners kicked in and Rocket was off and gone for the photo 🏆🏆

A Brilliant return by Rocket Empire carrying a hefty 61kg.

REGAL ROSSA CRASHES ANOTHER PARTY

Regal Rossa launches up through the grades and crashes the in form ‘Night Guy’s party.

Night Guy, son of Champion sire Lonhro was all the rage after strong back to back wins and a second this campaign leading into this contest.

Regal Rossa stepping up in grade and drawing out wide was friendless in the market.

However, apparently nobody told her.

Regal Rossa made her own luck. She travelled 3 wide all the way, but with the patient hands of Fred Kersley, Regal Rossa built momentum approaching the turn and then showed a clean pair of heels to quickly accelerate out wide and take the brilliant win.

Fred Kersley is quickly building a strong affinity with her making it 2 wins from 3 starts aboard the mare.

Rossa is a very outstanding and remarkable horse. No wonder she wins with a class. She really loves to crash every party she’s in.
